The last decades reflect a period during which airlines had to face many remarkable changes around their different businesses. Introduction of electronic ticketing is just one example. Changes happen almost on a daily basis and there is much more on the horizon.
TailWind Airline Consulting wants to help and support airlines of all sizes to keep pace with the numerous changes, which are imminent and will also come up on mid to long term.
“Change before you have to” was a wise saying of Jack Welsh and we believe that we can guide you to make changes smoothly and help you to be at par or even ahead of new innovative strategies around, but not limited to the financial world of an airline.
About
TailWind Airline Consulting was founded by Joachim Zintl. With more than 30 years experience in the travel and aviation business, Joachim’s expertise is deeply rooted in the Passenger Service area for airlines and his knowledge covers various departments. Thanks to this he was able to create new processes that helped airlines to evolve, increasing their revenues and optimising existing functions.

Paul neylan
For thirty years, Paul Neylan has worked for airlines, airline-related companies, and IATA, as well as being a USA court recognised Airline Subject Matter Expert. He has covered most aspects of the airline except flying or fixing the aircraft. Combining his training in both Project Management and Airline Accounting, he is able to traverse the intricacies of the airline world and deliver what customers want: covering revenue streams & accounting, ground operations, procedures, contracts, SMS systems, commercial agreements, EFBs, GDSs, RFQs, RFIs, or working with industry organizations. He is also able to build teams and lead them, while supporting and enabling those around him to take on changing responsibilities and new challenges.
